Saturday, Sept. 13
15:00-17:00 from Marcus-Omofuma-Mahnmal / Platz der Menschenrechte – Mariahilferstr. 1 1070, Vienna
to Held*innenplatz outside Weltmuseum – see map of procession
Join us in a public procession and demonstration of a special transport crate developed by leading scientists to safely transport the Aztec feathered headdress “El Penacho” from the Weltmuseum Wien. The counter vibration chamber exposes the alleged transport risks as an excuse for Austria’s refusal to return the treasure to Mexico. It will be given ceremonially as a gift to the museum, along with explanation and app.
